One of the many souvenirs Tim brought home from this last deployment was a painting of the pyramids he had done while the ship was in Egypt. It has been sitting upstairs in a spare bedroom rolled up in a tube ever since he got home two months ago. I had it custom framed without him knowing and revealed the surprise to him when we went to Michael's to pick it up. It sure turned out a whole lot better than if I had done it myself and worth every penny. What a great way to remember his travels!
