Saturday was another beach day...but this one was for the dogs! We've heard about San Diego's best off leash dog beach on Fiesta Island so we headed up for the day. I've never seen such an amazing place for your dogs! They could run and run as far as they wanted and since it was an island they couldn't get too far. This was the first time the dogs had been in water they could actually swim in. We had taken them to the beach back when lived in Virginia Beach but the waves scared them too much to actually dive right in a swim. Fiesta Island is in Mission Bay so the bay waters are warmers and calm so it was easy for the dogs to get used to it and start swimming away!
