Sold!

Today we accepted an offer on our house! After only twelve days on the market we honestly said we didn't expect it to happen this fast. We had two offers come in on the same morning and met with our Realtor to send back the counteroffers. After we did that, one of the parties accepted and we open escrow in just a few days! Now the real work starts, inspections, appraisals and a whole lot of paperwork. Tim and I realize how the real estate market in San Diego area has been lately and we are so thankful that things are falling into place before our big move next month. We know that the house isn't really sold until we hand the keys over to the new buyers but for now we are staying cautiously optimistic that the biggest burden we thought we would have to leave behind is on its way to being sold!
