So you got to love the military, right...wrong! Tim is finally getting off of LIMDU (Limited Duty) for the past six months. He went through countless doctors appointments and procedures, just enough to get past the pain. It's safe to say that he's feeling much better than he did when he first left the Rentz in May. So it's only a matter of time and paperwork for him to get assigned to a new ship here in San Diego and finish out the last two years he had on sea duty. Or so we thought...
Our life in San Diego was looking great, we started a new year with a list of home improvement projects we couldn't wait to dive into and thoughts of expanding our family. Last week Tim came home and had that look on his face that was all too familiar. I knew something drastic was about to change in our lives. The Navy is not keeping us here in San Diego for our last two years. Yep, we're on the move just waiting for the final word and time frame we have to work with.
Just goes to show that things can change, at the drop of a hat. It seems to happen to us when we are most comfortable or start to plan ahead. We hope to know more on Wednesday or by the end of the week at the very latest. In the meantime we are keeping an open mind and taking everything with a grain of salt because as with the military, things change by the hour and tomorrow is a new day!
