About a month ago, Tim and I were shopping for new furniture. Our dining room table was the very first one we had together as a married couple and it survived multiple moves from apartment to apartment in Virginia and even a cross country trip to California. The chairs were worn and every leg chair and table had memories of pug puppies using them as chew toys when Tim and I weren't looking. Our sectional was something we thought we wanted at the time when we first moved into the house but after two and a half years we realized it wasn't the perfect fit for the space we have. Fortunately, the sectional was still in excellent condition and we were able to sell it.

All the old furniture moved out, waiting for the new to arrive!

New dining set...a removable leaf and it seats six. We can actually have real dinner parties now!

The new reclining sofa and loveseat!
We were hooked when we went home to Ohio and fell in love with my parents reclining set. It was so comfortable, Tim slept on them several nights because they were so much more comfortable than any bed! Okay, so granted a month ago when we decided to buy new furniture we knew we would be spending another two years (minimum) in this house. Up until last week, our big purchase seemed justified to us. That was until Tim came home with the news of our possible up and coming move. We decided in the end, to keep the order and have it delivered. After all, no matter where we end up we're going to need furniture. We just hope our next home will have the room for it all!
