For two years (going on three) we've lived in our house and gradually made it our own. The one thing Tim and I looked forward to about owning our own house was being able to make it into something that reflects both of our tastes and style. When we moved to San Diego, Tim left just a month later on a six month deployment. One of the easy to-do things on my list I knocked out right away was painting nearly every single room in our house. All with the exception of our upstairs hallway. We have 20 foot vaulted ceilings in our staircase going up to the second floor. Tim and I tried numerous stairs and never felt comfortable on them to get up that high to paint. We finally broke down this week and realized that the best option was to hire a company to come out and paint this last bit of white in our house. Once they were done it was like we were living in a new house. The house feels warmer, in a sense, more complete now. Enjoy our before and after pictures!
