Okay, so it's not her
first car ride ever...but it's the first one in our new car and it's been just about a month since she's enjoyed a car ride back in San Diego! There are few things that Zoe loves more than a good car ride and today she was ecstatic when she saw that Tim and I pulled up in a car to take her for a couple hours today. The last time we saw Zoe we told her that the next time we came to see her we would have a car to take her "bye-byes" in. She immediately knew what we were taking about and she started jumping around. Today she was content in the backseat as we rode around base. We took her to her favorite water fountain she loves to play in on hot days like today, we went through McDonald's drive thru (as promised) so she could have a couple french fries as a treat and lastly to the waterfront where we parked and watched all of the boats out in the bay and some helicopters training out on the water. She could have stayed there and people watched for hours but after a few hours we had to take her back to her friends. However this time we could tell her that we had a big day coming next week...moving day!
Parked by the waterfront, watching the Navy Ships leave the bay, big cargo ships coming in and helicopters training out on the water!
