Congratulations Tim!

Last March, Tim was nominated for the Senior Sailor of the Quarter board and unfortunately was not chosen. However, yesterday night I got an email from him that he was headed back to the board and would let me know when the results came out, possibly in a week or two. Today I heard back from him that it was already announced on the ship that he was in fact awarded Senior Sailor of the Quarter! He will likely go on at the end of the year for Senior Sailor of the Year and then for the Region. We are all so proud of Tim although this comes as no surprise to me! Tim has always been hardworking, dedicated to his work and anything he does. He puts his guys first and constantly is thinking of ways to increase morale in his division. He is a great mentor and role model for his junior sailors and today we congratulate him and this more than well deserved accomplishment!
