This past week has been our craziest yet! With three separate pack outs with three separate moving companies, storing Tim's car and making last minute veterinary appointments for Zoe to get her Health Certificates and USDA certification, I am happy to say we have absolutely nothing left to do this weekend. We could sleep all of Saturday and Sunday away if we wanted to and get away with it. We are now, of course, moved into the Navy Lodge here in San Diego which is our "home" until we fly out Monday morning. Later today we will be turning our cell phones off since they won't work overseas. Starting Monday, our main mode of communication will be our laptop computers when we have Internet access...we hope you all have Skype! I also hope to be blogging more often than I have been lately since my laptop will be with me at all times.
We would like to give a big thank you to all of our family and friends for their best wishes and support during these last two months that had been a whirlwind for us. Never in a million years did I ever imagine that we would be making this move. However, somehow in two short months it all fell into place and came together without a hitch. We know that this is the next step for our family even if it's not the one we would have chosen ourselves. We are beyond excited to see what these next three years in Japan holds in store for us.
