Visiting with Zoe

One of the requirements of importing an animal in Japan, which happens to be a rabies free country, is to quarantine them before you arrive. With the short notice of Tim's orders we didn't exactly have all the time to prepare accordingly for Zoe's quarantine. By the time we arrived in Japan, Zoe had 126 days left out of an 180 day quarantine. To quarantine at a military facility, Zoe has to stay on base so thankfully we knew a friend of a friend that lives in base housing and was willing to watch Zoe for the remainder of her quarantine period. She lives just down the road from where we are staying at the Navy Lodge so it's a quick five minute walk down the road to see her whenever we want.
