Last night we visited the Wine Bank in the Gaslamp District and did a two hour wine tasting. It included six California wines, all of which were a little too dry for my taste. Then again, I'm not a sophisticated wine drinker and doesn't know what it means to fully appreciate a "good wine". We then headed up one block to Royal Thai for our dinner, yummy! Lastly, we ended the night with a walk up Fifth Avenue and a drive over to Seaport Village, only to find out it was closed. Two more days and Mom and Aunt Kimmie fly back home...wish the week could go by just a little slower!
